Prosecco (Prosecco) white sparkling wine from northeast Italy (Veneto and Friuli).
Prosecco is often called the grapes which produce this wine. However, since 2009, the official name of the variety – glera (Glera), in his historical name, and the name Prosecco is exclusively assigned to the appellation (as the word champagne in France).
