Pommard (Pommard) is a village (commune) in Burgundy sub-region of côte de Beaune, famous for rich flavorful red wines from Pinot Noir, accounting for nearly 100% of the landings from local vineyards. The Pommard appellation only includes red wines.

It is noteworthy that from Pommard to Volnay, its neighbor, the famous delicate fine red wines, just one mile, and in the character of wines, among them the abyss.
