Klima (FR. climat) – the local term for a single vineyard in Burgundy. In fact, it is synonymous with the concept of “CRU” (cru), differs only in the practice of word usage: “CRU” is used when designation status (e.g. Grand CRU), and “climate” – the actual plot of land with its geographic name.
