Snake wine – specific Asian drink, which is a tincture of snakes, preferably venomous, in rice wine or grain alcohol. The snake venom should not be afraid: it decomposes ethanol. And snakes are assumed to produce only the best – health, strength and longevity.
The oldest mention of the use of snake wine, indicate the ancient China (the era of the Western Zhou dynasty), where to the snakes since ancient times, the attitude is very attentive, and to use them tried everything. The medical use of snakes is described in treatises about 300 BC
